Core values

  • compassion, evidence-based treatment, partnership with family, treatment that is created unique for each child, positive impact on the entire family

  • Ti Lumieres is cajun french for “little lights,” or in some cases “lightning bugs.” I believe that each child is specially created by God for a purpose and I believe the world needs your child’s light. My job is to help your child’s light shine in the world and to give you tools to keep that light shining brightly.

  • Heavenly Father, I believe you created my child out of love and to be a light in this world. Sometimes this reality seems far from my view. Please help me as my child struggles. Help me every day to catch a glimpse of your image and likeness in him/her. Help me to remain patient, and guard my heart in hope. Please grant my child grace and help in the area he/she is most in need. In Jesus’ name I pray. +Amen St. Dymphna , pray for us!

  • I believe in the power of prayer and often ask others to pray for me, for those I love, and for those in need both in my community and throughout the world. Just as I ask my earthly friends to pray, I also ask my heavenly friends (the Saints) to pray.

St. Dymphna, canonized in 1247, is the patron saint of neurological disorders and so she is one I often ask to pray alongside me for the needs of my patients.

St. Dymphna was born to an Irish pagan king in the 7th century. St. Dymphna’s mother secretly raised her as a Christian. After St. Dymphna’s mother died, her father was stricken by grief to the degree that he lost his mind. St. Dymphna was the one most affected by his illness. For this reason we ask for her intercession especially in cases where someone is experiencing a mental or neurological challenge.

    St. Dymphna, Pray for us!
